Taking a pet from the United States to Armenia

What this destination requires

Dogs and Cats Travelers are limited to import a maximum total of five (5) pets (dogs and/or cats), without requiring additional special permissions or import quarantine restrictions.

The requirements for traveling with your dog or cat are described in the below guidance document and health certificate.

APHIS endorsement of the health certificate is required after it has been issued by a USDA Accredited Veterinarian.

Health certificate issuance and endorsement must occur within five (5) days of the pet's travel.

CDC high-risk for dog rabies. CDC lists Armenia as high risk for dog rabies, which affects bringing a dog back into the United States.
