Charles de Gaulle International Airport

Paris, France · IATA CDG · ICAO LFPG

Pet relief area & accessibility

Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) provides outdoor pet relief areas at Terminals 1, 2, and 3, located on the Arrivals (lower) curb adjacent to the taxi rank. Indoor relief areas are not currently provided in the post-security zones; assistance-dog handlers should ask any Aéroports de Paris customer service desk to escort them to the most convenient outdoor area. CDG is a hub for Air France (Terminal 2) and a major European transit point, so connecting passengers travelling with cabin pets should plan extra time between connecting flights to clear immigration, walk to a relief area, and re-clear security; the inter-terminal CDG Val people mover is free and accepts pets in carriers.

Before you fly

Confirm your airline's pet program before you book — every carrier publishes a slightly different cabin carrier limit, in-cabin pet count, and breed-restriction list. Browse the airline pet policies for the carrier you plan to fly, and review the guides library for country-specific import rules and carrier preparation tips. The information on this page is editorial and should be confirmed with the airport's official passenger services desk before travel.
